So, for the following two nights, they booked Berlin’s legendary punk rock sweatbox, SO36 in Kreuzberg, and returned to the purest possible form of New Model Army - without an orchestra, keyboards, or double bass. Over the two nights, the band played 38 different songs (in addition to the 21 performed with the orchestra), with the intention of seeing the weekend as a whole. The Sinfonia project in all its glory was released in 2023 - now, at last, comes sweat-drenched rock ‘n’ roll.
