To catalogue the various foods of the world in the Chinese goddess NvwaĄŻs cookbook, the expedition sets out from Mianxian Village in the east on their ship The Steamer and head south. They cross dangerous straits and arrive in wondrous countries such as ancient India and Iran. During their travels, they encounter kind-hearted and hospitable local foods but are also confronted with many challenges, including fierce pirates who prove extremely hard to deal with. The brave sailors defeat various evil forces including the Wicked Wizard, the Swift Conch and the Thousand-faced Robber. Finally, they reach Guixu, the edge of the world, where they wage a decisive battle against the powerful Pirate Queen. Show more
