23min - After an accident, teens Kei and Kato awake in an unfamiliar room with other strangers. Across from them sits a mysterious black sphere: the Gantz.
23min - Opening to reveal unusual weaponry and suits, the sphere orders the group to kill an alien. Kei, Kato and the others must decide whether to obey.
23min - The large alien exacts his revenge by picking off members of the group. Kei discovers that his Gantz suit gives him special powers.
23min - Nishi finishes the job and explains the rules of the game: anyone still alive will return to the room and be revived. But Kato is severely wounded.
23min - Finished with the first round, Kei Kurono, Kato and Kei Kishimoto attempt to go back to their regular lives but discover things have changed.
23min - Kei Kishimoto asks to stay overnight in Kei Kurono's place, as she has nowhere else to go. Kato worries for his little brother's safety.
23min - Cruel treatment at home and nasty threats from school bullies push Kato's patience to the breaking point. Kishimoto asks Kei for a favor.
23min - Kishimoto decides that being "dead" means she can live how she likes. After a violent scene, a new group of players is assembled in the Gantz room.
23min - Kei panics at the prospect of going on a mission without his suit. Meanwhile, tensions in the group boil over as they prepare to hunt another alien.
23min - Kei finds himself in grave danger when he captures the attention of the Suzuki alien. Nishi's suit malfunctions at the worst possible time.
23min - Kato attempts to save Nishi when no one else will. Once again, the group has to kill more than one alien to finish the round.
23min - With the clock ticking and more aliens to be hunted down, the group splits up. Kei and Tetsu are forced into a creepy building at gunpoint.
23min - Kei, suitless and outnumbered by the Suzuki aliens, must face the biggest monster alone. He fights desperately to survive the mission.
