Between 1965-1973, over 50,000 Americans went to Canada, refusing to participate in the Vietnam War. During the Iraq and Afghan Wars, a new generation of veterans crossed the border to Canada seeking relief and refuge from serving in what they viewed as an unjust and immoral war. Peace Has No Borders follows several resisters, caught between two countries as they fight to remain in an increasingly conservative Canada. Peace Has No Borders gives voice to their story and the story of people who provided sanctuary and support in Canada.
