Richard Ayoade is joined by comedian Joe Wilkinson for a 48-hour fling around the historic city of Krakow, known for its culture, fairy-tale old town and baked goods. They dive headlong into the latter with a baking workshop to make Krakow’s signature salty snack and pre-cursor to the bagel, obwarzanek krakowski. Day two sees the fearless duo buckle up in a Trabant for a tour of the communist district of Nowa Huta, and lunch comes in the shape of pierogi, dumplings stuffed with a variety of fillings, followed by yet more pierogi for pudding. The pair work off their carb intake at a stained-glass workshop, and with bespoke souvenirs lovingly soldered, Richard and Joe make their way to an ancient mound to contemplate the craic in Krakow.
