In just two days, the pair learns to row a gondola, sees the city’s most famous sights, joins an interactive tour, tries the Venetian version of tapas, and explores the world of masks. Richard and Jo take a lesson at the city’s gondola school, followed by a taste of cicchetti and a treasure hunt around the city – only without the treasure. On day two, Richard and Jo rise early to get the best view of St. Mark’s square, and a search for souvenirs leads them to learn about the Venetian traditions of masks at one of the city’s best mask makers, which gives Richard a chance to show Jo how Casanova made his moves.
