23min - Lightning is a gentle and curious six-month-old miniature dwarf pony who was born with deformed hooves that make it painful and difficult for him to run, play, or even stand for longer than a few minutes. Fortunately, Derrick Campana has a prosthetic solution, creating braces, to get this pony up on his feet.
23min - Avery is an energetic two-year-old golden retriever who struggles to walk because she was born with deformed back paws. She loves to play with her family, but as she's getting older, it's become more and more difficult for her to get around. Derrick Campana envisions Avery thriving with two blade-style prosthetics that will allow her to get back on all four paws and keep up with the kids!
23min - Pearl is a strong and playful French Bulldog who was saved in China from the inhumane practice of using dogs for meat. She's now missing one of her front paws. Derrick wants to help, but Pearl's unusual deformity makes this an incredibly challenging case, forcing him to come up with a totally new design.
23min - Turbo Roo and Thor are rambunctious Chihuahuas that are both missing their front legs. Ashley and her husband AJ rescued them from a shelter, and the dogs have since become integral members of their close-knit family. For this case, Derrick will need to break new ground, creating customized 3D printed carts for Turbo Roo and Thor so they can keep up with their loving family.
23min - Bert is a sensitive two-year-old potbelly pig whose connective tissue disorder affects all four of his legs, forcing him to walk on his ankles, which is incredibly painful and will only get worse over time. Derrick has never tried to make four braces for a pig before, but with Bert's intense and increasing pain, there is no room for failure.
23min - Ferdie is an energetic and fun-loving two-year-old goat who had his back leg amputated after a bad accident. Amanda and Ryan Kerns and their three kids think of Ferdie as a fourth child. Ferdie is still trying to use his back amputated leg, which causes him a lot of pain and puts him at risk of arthritis. Derrick needs to make Ferdie a prosthetic before things get any worse.
23min - Elsa is a sweet, strong, five-year-old dog who lost all four paws from a tick-borne disease, making it nearly impossible for her to walk. Derrick almost never makes prosthetics for all four limbs of an animal, and with Elsa’s rare deformity, each leg needs to be individually designed, which makes this case one of Derrick’s most challenging ever.
23min - Bear is a stubborn goat, Hanna Montana is a playful piglet, and Moko is a gentle sheep: all three desperately need Derrick’s help. He needs to build six devices for Bear and then race back to his shop to build another two devices for Hanna Montana to protect her joints as she grows and gains more weight, and he needs to build four for Moko, who cannot even stand on his own.
23min - Gracie is an energetic, playful dog who had to have her back foot amputated at two weeks old. Now that Gracie is getting older, her body's at risk of hip dysplasiaand arthritis as she overcompensates for her lost foot. After learning that Gracie already tried a prosthetic that failed her, Derrick will need to work even harder to make sure that Gracie will trust and want to use his design.
23min - Derrick travels across the world to Bhutan to build a prosthetic for a very special horse named Yusi. She might not survive if Derrick can’t get her walking again. But it’s not just Yusi that needs Derrick’s help so he decides to build Bhutan’s first ever animal limb lab so that Jamie can continue to make prosthetics for all of the country’s animals in need.
23min - Derrick is in Bhutan to build a prosthetic for a very special horse named Yusi. Yusi is a gentle, maternal horse whose leg was amputated after a car accident. Luckily for her, Jamie Vaughn brought Yusi back to her animal sanctuary. After meeting Yusi, Derrick can see that she is in urgent need of his help; she might not survive if he can’t get her walking again.
