Each team must build their own tourist island. The winning team earn the Power Brick, which can keep them safe from elimination.

The four remaining teams must create an emotional work of art made entirely from one colour
The teams invent, design and build original board games in the Mousetrap and Operation mould. The winners will go straight into the grand finale.
The semi-finalists must create a fantastic monster and a lair for it to live in. They must also build on a two-sided baseplate: above and below!
The finalists build their big masterpieces. They have 24 hours to prove they're the best builders in New Zealand, creating whatever they fancy.
