47min - The series returns and we find that Laura's wedding has not yet happened and that she is fighting a battle of the heart whether to marry Ian or not. Emily is now thirteen years old. Not wanting to see Laura marry Ian, Emily and Ilse are overjoyed when the news that Laura is thinking of cancelling the wedding reaches them.
47min - Ollie Murray who has been without his mother for a year is finally re-united with her. In the time which she has been gone much has changed in Blair Water, especially the death of Ollie's father, Oliver Murray Snr. who died in the Klondike.
47min - Mr Carpenter is fired as the school teacher and replaced with Aunt Isobel. Perry has to run New Moon by himself while Jimmy must work as a farm labourer. After being forced to work for Mr Stuart Emily makes a wish on the wishing moon.
47min - Jimmy marries Eve, however the happiness is short-lived when Eve is arrested for murdering her father Abner Kinch and her fate lies in the hands of Jimmy.
47min - Perry lived through the torments at school but he had long since forgotten about his mother. But Aunt Thom plans to break his mother out of jail and he has to help.
47min - Malcolm Murray brings a six-year-old black boy to Blair Water. Rejected by the community, Emily tries to make Robbie Burns feel at home.
47min - The entire town suffers the smallpox epidemic as many become sick and die.
47min - Emily and Ilse write an article "Kicking the cat" for the newspaper. The problems begin once people start taking the advice of the column and misunderstandings in love begins.
47min - Ian's nephew, Harrison, comes to visit Blair Water. A box social causes conflict as Emily and Teddy are not partnered. Rhode invites Harrison and makes a choice that will forever change her life.
47min - Isabel Murry and Ian Bowles come up with an evil plan to steal New Moon from the the rest of the family.
47min - Emily, unable to find funds to attend school in Shrewsbury, writes to Queen Victoria for help.
47min - Laura refuses to return to Ian and finds a job at a mill. When Ian discovers where she is and tries to force her to return home, Laura disappears.
47min - Trying to discover where Aunt Laura has run off to, Emily and Ilse go to see Ada Pickett. The girls see three different fates for Laura, one of which is the truth.
55min - Emily and Ilse battle with issues of “Truth” when they involve themselves in Laura’s love life. Laura’s pure love for Dr. Burnley haunts her as wedding preparations are finalized for her and Ian Bowles.
55min - The tragic Maida Flynn returns to collect her child, Little Ollie Murray, abandoned in Blair Water over a year ago. In the time she has been away, the father, Oliver Murray Sr., has perished in the Klondike, leaving his son a considerable amount of gold.
55min - Emily makes a wish for Jimmy to be a man of great wisdom. Instead, a bolt of lightening strikes him, leaving him comatose on the side of the road. Emily is paralyzed with fear thinking that she has wished death upon her beloved cousin.
55min - Jimmy Murray is made Director of the First Institute of Scientific Discovery. He plans to build an automobile, harness electrical energy but most ambitiously, to build a bridge which will connect Prince Edward Island to the Mainland.
55min - It’s no secret that Three-toed Alice Miller, Perry’s mother, murdered her husband with an ax ten years ago. Despite teasing from the school children, Perry has long since buried the memory and started a new life.
55min - The Murray family is horrified when the ship carrying Malcolm Murray is put under quarantine for small pox. Ignoring Dr. Burnley’s warning about the disease, the children sneak Malcolm out of the contaminated area, hidden in a coffin.
55min - Robbie Burns dies and Blair Water is ravaged by the small pox epidemic. Preparations must be made to save the children. They attempt to leave town but the barricades block them.
55min - Emily writes an anonymous gossip column titled, “KICKING THE CAT.” When people in the community act on Emily and Ilse’s advice concerning matters of the heart, misunderstandings pile on top of misinformation.
55min - Emily learns the best way to overcome writer’s block is to write what you see. She begins a dramatic biography entitled, “Confessions of an Adulteress, ” based on Rhoda’s promiscuous mother, Velma Stuart.
55min - Malcolm’s bequest, which leaves New Moon to Isabel, Laura, Jimmy and Emily, ignites a family squabble of epic proportions. Isabel refuses to share her inheritance with anyone and does everything within her powers to have the document nullified.
55min - Emily’s plans to attend school in Shrewsbury with her friends are shattered when Aunt Ruth refuses to provide room and board. Emily is fated to be left behind in Blair Water, never to receive the education she so fiercely desires. .
55min - Laura Murray’s foray into the world as a single woman in the family way is nothing short of trial by fire. Isabel Murray refuses to support her at New Moon while Laura obstinately refuses to return to Ian Bowles.
55min - What ever happened to Laura Murray? Emily and Ilse consult with Ada Pickett, infamous palm reader, who tells them they are too young to know the truth.
