Episode 2

52min - While Chummy prepares for mission work in Sierra Leone, Cynthia loses faith in her abilities, and Jimmy walks back into Jenny's life.

Episode 3

52min - Jenny is sent to a short-staffed London hospital. Back at Nonnatus House, the nuns and midwives meet a pair of twins, one of whom is pregnant.

Episode 4

52min - Returning from her stint at The London Hospital, Jenny and Sister Evangelina assist at the birth of the Roberts' baby, who is born with spina bifida.

Episode 5

52min - The community pulls together to prepare for the annual Summer Fete and with the addition of a Baby Show, the midwives will be more involved than ever.

Episode 6

52min - With the advent of the mass-Xray program, Dr Turner is determined that the community will no longer live under the threat of Tuberculosis.

Episode 7

52min - Cynthia finds herself administering daily insulin injections to diabetic John Lacey, a man who consistently belittles his wife Annie.

Episode 8

52min - Chummy and PC Noakes settle back down to life in Poplar and Jenny's own jubilation comes in the form of potential love interest Alec.
