An action-adventure road-movie. An enterprising Kyiv citizen, Apollon Shmyguev, whose peaceful bourgeois life was disturbed by the civil war, together with a "vehicle" confiscated for the needs of the revolution - a camel - falls into the possession of the Bolshevik commissar. One of the few examples of early Ukrainian film comedy and banned in the USSR.
