Gather ’round, buckaroos, for The Muppet Cowboy Show! To help their guest stars—King of the Cowboys Roy Rogers and his wife, Dale Evans—“feel more at home on the range,” the Muppets pay tribute to the “wild, wooly West!” In this steer-studded show, the cast milks every possible cow joke for big laughs. Fozzie especially is in his element, and the cows udder-ly love him! Also, Evans and the Babies sing (and wail and neigh) “Deep in the Heart of Texas”; and Hank (played by Jim, a Muppet created to look like Jim Henson) and Tex (played by Jerry, for Jerry Nelson) sing “A Four-Legged Friend” to their beloved and loyal horses (played by cows). Kermit even gets yodeling lessons from Rogers! For the final production number, Rogers, Evans, cast members and the cows cozy up together around a campfire and under a starry sky to sing a medley of cowboy hits.
