23min - When some eighth graders invite him to join a secret club of the future powerful men of the universe, Doug's life becomes a frenzied, frantic blur of insanely tight timing.
23min - Skeeter is seeing Beebe Bluff and Doug is disgusted and jealous, saying his friendship with Skeeter is ended. Patti explains to Doug that Skeeter can't help how he feels about Beebe, and that friends sometimes have to wait for things to blow over.
23min - Patti starts to worry about her weight after watching a commercial selling the Waist-Away diet kit to fight body fat. Patti becomes so compulsive about dieting and exercise that even Doug can't talk any sense into her. When Patti collapses at a track competition, her teacher, Miss Kristal, makes her understand how she is jeopardizing her health.
23min - Guy Graham, has invited Patti to go to a star-studded movie premiere! Despite Patti's assurances that it's not a date, Doug fears Patti is forsaking him. Slipping into fantasy, Doug and Porkchop become Quailman and Quaildog, courageously fighting for Patti's affections against Guy, who assumes various alter-egos. Doug resolves that he must trust Patti.
23min - When Judy's favorite celebrity, actress Gywnne Gauntlet, comes to talk to her video class, Judy volunteers to be her assistant. Gywnne runs Judy ragged, but Judy says nothing for the sake of the college recommendation she wants from Gywnne.
23min - Connie Benge becomes obsessed with winning a local radio station contest and becoming a rock 'n' roll star. Doug must choose between going to school or being in Connie's group and rehearsing for the contest. Doug decides that school matters more to him.
23min - In a media stunt to improve his popularity, Bill Bluff invites himself to have Thanksgiving with the Funnies, a typical Bluffington family. Swarms of people transform the Funnie household into a banquet setting, but Beebe Bluff persuades her father to stay home for a family Thanksgiving. So Doug's family dishes up the lavish feast with Patti, her father, and a crowd of homeless people.
23min - Thinking he'll impress Patti if he becomes a famous collector, Doug looks for junk that he hopes will turn into priceless collectibles fast and ransacks flea markets in search of a hot item: rubber tub stoppers. Eventually, Doug learns that collecting only matters if it really means something to him, and gives it up.
