Singing All Along

In the tumultuous 1st-century imperial China, peasant brothers Liu Xiu (Yuan Hong) and Liu Yan (Zong Feng Yan) rise to lead rebel forces against the oppressive Xin Empire to restore the Han Dynasty. Aided by military strategist Feng Yi (Li Jia Hang) and loyal friend Deng Yu (Kenny Kwan), they fight alongside Yin Li Hua (Ruby Lin), Liu Xiu's true love. After Liu Xuan (Yu Bo) executes Liu Yan, Liu Xiu must strategically sacrifice his personal happiness, leaving Yin Li Hua to marry Guo Shan Tong (Wang Yuan Ke) to build military power. His ultimate goal is to establish the Eastern Han Dynasty as Emperor Guangwu, but at a significant emotional cost. This is a 2016 Chinese historical drama series directed by Lin Feng and produced by Ruby Lin, based on the novel series "Xiuli Jiangshan" by Li Xin.
