The remains of sailors have been unearthed from three naval ports in southern England. Through painstaking forensic analysis, Warrior Graveyard looks at the remains of six men who served in the Royal Navy during the 18th and 19th centuries. Their bones reveal a shocking litany of ailments, including scurvy, malnutrition, venereal disease, broken bones, amputated limbs and sheared-off fingers, as well as cutlass, shrapnel and bullet wounds.
