In a world of martial arts, Hu Fei (Qin Jun Jie) is a young, justice-seeking hero seeking revenge for his father's death. His path crosses with a tyrannical warlord and unexpectedly, the warlord's daughter Yuan Zi Yi (Liang Jie), with whom he falls in love. While searching for a medical cure to restore a blind man's sight, he meets Cheng Ling Su (Xing Fei), a female apprentice of the Poison Hand Medicine King who develops feelings for him. As Hu Fei continues his quest, he begins to suspect his true identity and questions the circumstances of his father's death.
