On the run with Rasselas, Roxy, and George, Nell decides to turn her hand to highway robbery, stealing from the rich to survive. Her sisters miss Tottenham, but Nell assures them that she’s got a plan to keep the two of them safe while she fights to clear her name. Lady Sofia, desperate to hunt Nell down, turns to the shadowy Earl of Poynton for help. Meanwhile, Nell’s best-laid plans are derailed when the notorious highwayman Isambard Tulley takes a shine to her. By teaming up with Tulley she unwittingly throws herself, her siblings, and Rasselas into even graver danger. As enemies both mortal and magical begin to close in, Nell will have to use all her strength to escape.
