Parliament of Owls

59min - At the forefront of the Sexual Revolution, Masters and Johnson are about to publish their study, finally removing the shroud from the work that's consumed them for the past decade. As they face the press for the first time, they flash back to a summer vacation of the year prior, where Virginia is faced with parenting struggles, Bill is finishing work on their book and Libby is pulling herself out from beneath a deep depression.

With the help of a new doctor in the practice, Bill takes on a powerful, high-profile fertility patient while Virginia and Libby come to terms with Bill's role in Gini's life.

The Excitement of Release

57min - Masters and Johnson's book has been released and for the first time, they're both subjected to large-scale scrutiny. While reviews are positive, the public's response causes unease around the office. The new spotlight on her mother starts to affect Tessa at school while Libby does her best to maintain her social life outside of her friendship with Virginia. 58min - As Masters (Michael Sheen) looks for ways to improve sales of their book, Johnson (Lizzy Caplan) focuses on her son's health problems in Vietnam. Margaret Scully (Allison Janney) and her new boyfriend seek help at the institute.

Matters of Gravity

58min - A visit by her parents threatens to expose Johnson's (Lizzy Caplan) secret. As Margaret's (Allison Janney) unconventional living arrangement is revealed, Masters (Michael Sheen) returns to face his former colleagues.

Two Scents

58min - As a result of their spreading acclaim, Masters and Johnson take on a celebrity couple looking to reinvigorate their sex life at the same time Masters and Johnson are itching to get theirs back. Tessa learns what childhood with Edna Eshelman must have been for Virginia and comes to understand her mother more than ever. Masters attempts to connect with Johnny, but misses the mark entirely, pushing away his new friend in the process, and Libby furthers her involvement in Joy's life, but not without consequences that extend to Paul.

Monkey Business

53min - As her relationship with Logan blossoms, Johnson (Lizzy Caplan) agrees to help a zoo get its reluctant gorilla to mate. As Betty (Annaleigh Ashford) looks to the clinic sperm bank to get her girlfriend pregnant, Libby (Caitlin Fitzgerald) and Paul find solace at the apartment.

Surrogates

53min - As Johnson (Lizzy Caplan) lies about her relationship with Logan, Masters (Michael Sheen) proceeds with a controversial sexual surrogacy project. Betty (Annaleigh Ashford) and Helen enlist Langham (Teddy Sears) to help them get pregnant.

High Anxiety

55min - In the weeks following a tragic loss, Libby tries to mask her feelings by setting Paul up with a friend. Masters continues his surrogacy program, now under the critical eye of Johnson, in which Lester volunteers as their first male surrogate.

Through a Glass, Darkly

57min - Nora, Masters' prize surrogate, and Lester both have missteps in the protocol, leading to Johnson's overt objection to the program. Libby's birthday approaches and both men in her life try their best to please her and Tessa explores what sex really means to her, having grown up on the fringes of Masters and Johnson's clinic.

Party of Four

53min - Masters, Johnson, Logan and his wife gather in New York for a painful dinner in which agendas collide, truths are exposed and no relationship emerges in the state it entered. At home, Libby is faced with a startling accusation that threatens her family's foundation.
