As a child, Zhi Nu (Xiao Zhan), the son of Da Yong’s Imperial Astronomer, managed to survive the massacre of his entire family. To avenge them, he withdrew from greater society for ten years, honing his skills in architecture, and political strategy under a wise mentor. Now using the name Zang Hai, he works his way closer to his enemy Zhuang Lu Yin, the Duke Ping Jin (Huang Jue), by helping him solve various high-stakes matters of the state. When he's appointed the new Chief Imperial Astronomer, he's finally able to set his plans for revenge in motion. However, when Zang Hai finds out that another politician is plotting a devastating war, he must ally with Xiang An Tu (Zhang Jing Yi) and others sympathetic to the cause to expose the conspiracy and protect the kingdom. This drama was adapted from the novel "Tibetan Sea Opera" by Nan Pai San Shu.
