When Timon praises the exploits of Ned The Elephant, Pumbaa gets it into his head to reinvent himself as a pachyderm. Timon, seeing this as a way to gain popularity and get into Ned's exclusive in-crowd clique, decides to help Pumbaa by, one, bulking him up like an elephant, two, improve Pumbaa's memory, and, three, getting him an elephant-like trunk. While scaling Kilimanjaro, Timon and Pumbaa split up to look for food- with bizarre results.
