Six months after the first Gamera attack, a meteorite frees the giant turtle, who attacks the Kurobe Dam in Japan. A war veteran finds an opal in a cave, but when exposed to sunlight it hatches! From the egg emerges the giant lizard Barugon, who attacks Gamera with his rainbow rays.
