Billy finds an old vocal track of his and decides to release it as a new, “undiscovered” single. Since Billy hates to work alone, he decides to clone himself and create a band. But the clones are as lazy and unfocussed as Billy. Meanwhile, Spencer has promised the public a new Billy Joe Cobra single. Will he find a way to get the band to buckle down and finish the single, or will he end up looking like an international joke? Thanks to Billy splattering Ponzi’s tuxedo with mustard, Spencer is stuck doing detention while the rest of the school gets to attend the glamorous “FAME Awards.” Worse yet, Spencer’s special-effects idol, Stan Winnihausen, is slated to receive a lifetime achievement award. Determined to go, Spencer ducks out of detention and, with Billy’s help, tries to sneak into the awards. Will he make it in time to see his idol, or will the ever vigilant Ponzi bust him first?
