Gerrard Gosens is aiming to become the first totally blind person to swim the 34 km English Channel from Dover to Cape Gris-Nez, guided by a dedicated team. Fewer than 3000 have completed this swim since 1875, making it rarer than climbing Everest a peak Gerrard has also attempted. His mission is fueled by the desire to inspire others, reaching closer to France than any totally blind person in history.
