Panic on the Runway

44min - One of the engines on British Airtours Flight #28 is on fire. Thick black smoke fills the cabin, and just six minutes later, the aircraft is ravaged by fire. 55 people die.

Alarming Silence

44min - After a last minute runway change, Northwest Airlines Flight #255 barely manages to get off the ground before it hits a light pole, and disintegrates on a highway.

Pilot vs. Plane

44min - Airbus A-320 is headed to the Alsace air show for a low-altitude fly-by. But after getting into position, the plane plows into a forest and is consumed by flames.

Cleared for Disaster

44min - Within seconds of touching down, US Air Flight #1493 erupts in flames and crashes into an abandoned brick building. As survivors emerge, firefighters make a horrifying discovery.

Target Is Destroyed

44min - Hoping to save fuel, Korean Airlines Flight #007 requests permission to fly at a higher altitude. When the aircraft reaches its new height, it spirals and crashes into the sea.

Cold Case

44min - Air Ontario Flight #1363 reaches takeoff speed but struggles to get airborne, starts shaking violently and less than a minute later crashes into the woods.

The Final Blow

44min - A controller guides Air Inter Flight #148 as they prepare to make a visual landing. As they descend, the aircraft rips through the treetops and slams into the side of a mountain.

Cracks in the System

44min - A minute after takeoff, just as Chalk’s Ocean Airways Flight #101 is leveling off, it is suddenly rocked by an explosion, and plunges into the ocean. There are no survivors.
