Low-ranking disciple Li Qing Yue (Bai Lu) never expected to amount to much due to her low level of spiritual power. However, her life changes dramatically when Bai Jiu Si (Joseph Zeng), the powerful Supreme Lord of Da Cheng, descends from a heavenly realm and declares that she will be his cultivation partner and wife. Despite this turn of luck, a tragic misunderstanding pits Qing Yue and her new husband against each other, leading to her death.
