The Golden Triangle of Destiny

48min - Minnesota Mel is on an adventure to find the Golden Triangle of Destiny on Sesame Street. When Mel hurts his leg and is unable to finish the search, Texas Telly continues the adventure. A giant boulder gives Texas Telly the first clue to look “under” something. He uses a jackhammer to dig under the ground and finds a shape with five sides, the Golden Pentagon of Destiny. Texas Telly is disappointed, but a friendly snake gives him the word “laundromat” for the next clue. At the laundromat, Murray and Leela help Texas Telly look under more things and find a shape with eight sides, the Golden Octagon of Destiny. Texas Telly is ready to give up and sits on a chair but feels a pointy object under the cushion. He finds a shape with three sides and three angles: the Golden Triangle of Destiny!

Telly's Shoes

54min - The Fairy Shoe Person, played by Neil Patrick Harris, visits Sesame Street and gave Abby Cadabby a great, new pair of shoes. He sings about many different kinds of shoes and uses his magic shoe horn to surprise Telly with his first pair. He gives Telly running shoes but Telly can not stop running. The Fairy Shoe Person then uses the magic shoe horn and gives Telly ballet shoes but all the spinning makes him dizzy. The Fairy Shoe Person uses the shoe horn a third time and gives Telly a pair of "elevator" shoes that make him grow as tall as a building. The Fairy Shoe Person disappears and Telly realizes that his feet feel great and his toes can roam freely without shoes. Shoes are for people and fairies. Monsters don’t need shoes to run, jump, dance, and hop.

Sock Chaos at the Laundromat

53min - Chris does his laundry at the Sesame Street Laundromat as an Anything Muppet Lady finishes hers. While folding his clothes, he notices a sock is missing. Socks come in pairs, so he must find the matching sock. Abby appears and has a new “two trick” to turn one thing into two things. She waves her wand and a talking pink polka dot sock appears, but it doesn’t match Chris’ striped sock. Abby tries her “more trick” and four more socks appear: an argyle sock with diamond shapes, a white gym sock with blue stripes, a red sock, and a baby sock but none of the them match Chris’ striped sock. Abby, Elmo, and the socks do the “Five Sock Conga.” The Anything Muppet lady returns to the laundromat. She holds a sock that got into her laundry by mistake. It’s a striped sock that matches Chris’ sock!

Leela's Sesame Street Video

53min - Leela is making a video of Sesame Street to send to her parents in India! Prairie Dawn suggests taping the letter “O” with some oatmeal cookies, but Cookie Monster eats them all before she can film anything. Leela spots Jack B. Nimble about to jump over a candlestick. As she grabs the camera to film, he crashes into her and she’s unable to get anything on tape. Leela sees Big Bird and the Birdketeers singing the alphabet and starts to tape, but the meeting ends before she films much. Oscar says Leela can film her but as she starts, he tricks her and stays in his can. Leela is sad that she does not have anything on video to show her parents. Alan, Big Bird, Rosita, Prairie and the Letter O sit on the steps together. She is happy to tape the most amazing part of Sesame Street: her friends.

Firefly Show

52min - Telly and Baby Bear are catching fireflies! When they spot a firefly, they chase it all over Sesame Street with their net and jar. Telly has an idea to use a flashlight to attract the firefly, so it thinks the blinking light is another firefly. When the firefly approaches, they catch it and put it in their jar. They notice its light getting dimmer. Leela suggests finding out what is wrong by pretending to be fireflies. When they pretend that someone has put them in a small jar with little room to move, they realize that the firefly is sad because it has no room to fly. They decide to let it go and see that the firefly is happy again. Telly and Baby Bear have more fun singing and pretending to be fireflies. Luis plays “The Firefly Song” and Maria teaches the Spanish word for firefly.

Max the Magician

53min - Max the Magician appears on Sesame Street. Rosita, Big Bird, Elmo, and Chris are all excited to see magic tricks. For the first trick, Max takes out one scarf out of his pocket and takes out two other scarves to make a total of three scarves. For his next trick, he makes five cards disappear one by one. He also turns one piece of rope into two pieces. Everyone is amazed and wants to know the secrets, but Max will not tell. Chris explains that Max was doing addition when two scarves became three and subtraction when the cards were taken away one by one. Big Bird also figures out that Max was dividing the rope to make it into two pieces and replicates the trick with his breadstick. All of Max’s tricks were math! Now everyone knows the secrets of his tricks and Max magically disappears.

Annual Triangle Toss

52min - Telly is excited to participate in the Triangle Lovers’ Annual Triangle Toss. It is a game like ring toss but with triangles. Telly plays every year and wins, which he credits to his lucky triangle vest. Telly’s vest is too small now and Baby Bear and Leela help him squeeze into it but the vest rips! Telly’s not sure if he can toss a triangle without his lucky vest but Baby Bear and Leela urge him to try. When Telly misses his first toss, he is discouraged but doesn’t give up. Following his friends’ advice, Telly imagines wearing his lucky vest and his next two tosses are successful. Everyone celebrates Telly’s win and he gives his repaired vest to an aspiring Triangle Lover, who hopes to love triangles as much as Telly does.

Elmo and Zoe's Hat Contest

53min - It is Who Can Wear the Most Hats on Their Head Day on Sesame Street! Elmo and Zoe are competing as Chris and Alan add more and more hats and the Hat Check Girl counts them. When the Dinger rings its bell, Elmo and Zoe perform challenges while balancing the hats on their heads. These include saying the alphabet while standing on one leg and estimating the number of hats on their heads. When there are no more hats to add, Abby Cadabby casts a spell for additional hats. Since “hats” and “bats” rhyme, she inadvertently creates bats at first but then casts a spell creating a huge tower of hats on both their heads. The Hat Check Girl counts the hats by fives. Elmo and Zoe are tied with thirty hats on each of their heads!

Telly the Tiebreaker

52min - Elmo, Zoe, Rosita, and two friends are building a block house together. When they can’t agree on putting a square or a circle on top, Alan helps solve the problem by asking them to raise their hands to vote for their preference. After counting the votes, the square wins by one. Elmo and Zoe vote again when they each want to sing different songs but end up with a tie. Realizing they need more voters, Zoe and Elmo have Rocco and Dorothy vote as well, but it is still a tie. Alan explains they need one more voter to decide because both sides have the same number of votes. Telly becomes the tie breaker but has a hard time deciding. He wishes they vote on doing “The Triangle Dance” instead and everyone agrees. It’s unanimous because everyone votes to do “The Triangle Dance.”

Curly Bear Chases Birthday Cake

51min - Mama Bear made Baby Bear’s favorite Chocolate-Porridge Birthday Cake for his party; but he worries that his little sister, Curly Bear might ruin it. Telly decides to help Baby Bear by keeping Curly Bear away from the cake. They play party games and distract Curly Bear but whenever she sees the cake or hears the word, she runs for it. In his efforts to prevent Curly Bear from ruining the cake, Telly breaks the limbo stick, wrecked the Pin the Spoon on the Porridge Bowl picture, and while on the pogo stick, falls right onto the cake! Baby Bear gets upset. Telly leaves because he thinks he ruined the party. Baby Bear apologizes for yelling and realizes friends are much more important than cake. They return to the party together and blow out the candles on the remainder of the cake.

Big Bird and Snuffy Talent Show

50min - Big Bird and Snuffy are having a Talent Show but they don’t know what a Talent Show is. When Leela explains that it’s a show where people do different things like singing and dancing or anything they like to do, they ask her to be part of the it. Leela juggles an apple and orange while singing the ABCs. Big Bird and Snuffy search for other guests for their show but see Wolfgang the Seal playing the glockenspiel too close to them. They ask Wolfgang to play elsewhere. Cookie Monster joins the show and gobbles down a cookie. Leela returns to tap dance around and with her laundry. When they see Wolfgang again, Leela recognizes Wolfgang’s talent. Big Bird and Snuffy realize they were chasing away the talent. Wolfgang the Seal plays his glockenspiel and they have the greatest talent show ever.

Number 6 Games

53min - It’s the Number 6 Day on Sesame Street! All the games, songs, and festivities are about the number six. Telly brings out five cheerleaders and adds Chris as their sixth cheerleader. For the Six Pig Tickle, but there are seven pigs tickling Elmo instead of six. Telly thinks the Number 6 day is ruined but Chris explains that since seven is one more than six, one pig can be taken away to equal six. The next event is the Chicken Laying Six Eggs event at Big Bird’s nest. When the chicken only lays three eggs, Big Bird brings another chicken that lays another three. By adding up all the eggs, they get six eggs all together! For the finale, Pete is going to sing “Six Penguins in My Shirt” song. When Telly hears that Pete missed his flight, he sings the song and saves the Number 6 Day!

Abby Thinks Oscar is a Prince

53min - Chris reads Abby a story about a princess who kisses a frog and it turns into a prince. Since Oscar is green like a frog and grouchy, Abby thinks he could be an enchanted prince who was turned into a grouch by a Fairy Grouchmother. She believes that a kiss can break the spell and turn him back to Prince Oscar. He does not want to be kissed. She keeps trying to kiss him and even chases him down his can. Oscar asks Chris for a disguise, so Abby will not recognize him. When Abby finds him, Chris suggests allowing Abby to kiss him to prove that he is not a prince. Abby finally kisses Oscar and learns Oscar is just Oscar the Grouch and not a prince after all. She still loves him just the way he is! Chris tells Abby the frog in the story is a fairy tale frog and frogs will always be frogs.

Big Bird's Nest Sale

52min - Big Bird sells his old toys at his nest sale. Snuffy helps by remembering everything in the nest is for sale and everything out of it, especially Radar, is not. As Big Bird leaves to get more of his old toys, his tail accidentally drops his teddy bear, Radar, into the nest. The Count buys all the toys in the nest in exchange for birdseeds. When Big Bird returns and looks for Radar, he and Snuffy realize that it was sold to The Count. He says he gave it to a thin, tall curly-haired monster. When they find a monster who fits the description, they learn he gave Radar to a little girl who lost her teddy bear. Big Bird is heartbroken. That little girl comes to the nest sale looking for a baseball glove. She does not have birdseed so she trades the glove for a teddy bear. Big Bird hugs Radar!

Slimey Adopts a Pet Bug

55min - Oscar takes his pet worm Slimey in his sloppy jalopy to the “Bug-a-Wee Bug Shelter.” Slimey is excited to get a pet bug. Natalie, the worker at the Bug Shelter, shows Slimey the four different kinds of bugs they have. Slimey’s decision is made when the Detroit Dirt Digger stops digging in the dirt and approaches him. Slimey names him Dirty. When they get home, Dirty is hiding because everything is new to him. Oscar suggests reading “The Bug Book” that Natalie gave them. Oscar and Slimey read the first chapter and learn that Dirty may be frightened. In order to calm him down, Oscar and Slimey wear bug antennae hats to make him feel at home. When that does not help make Dirty feel comfortable, they sing the “Welcome Bug Song.” Their song makes Dirty less afraid and he plays with Slimey.

Elmo Steps In for Super Grover

53min - Super Chicken and sidekick, Robin, help Elmo get his airplane out of the tree. Feeling slighted, Super Grover remarks it would be easy to be a superhero if he has a sidekick to help. Horatio the Elephant, wearing a cape, offers to be Super Grover’s sidekick and together they set off to help others in need. Throughout their adventures, Horatio runs off in the wrong direction and get stuck in doorways. While Super Grover and Chris help Horatio become unstuck, Elmo not only helps Baby Bear find a fourth animal for his quartet but also gets a basketball unstuck from the hoop. When Horatio decides to return to the ballet company, Super Grover needs to find another sidekick. Even though Elmo has done a super job of solving everyone's problems today, he prefers to just play with his airplane.

Abby's First Sleepover

54min - Abby and Big Bird have a sleepover! Abby takes her wand, pillow, and her favorite book to Big Bird’s nest. When nobody is available to read a bedtime story, they ask Maria. She and Luis are going dancing, but they agree to read first. Before the story, Abby does her bedtime routine. She brushes her wings, sings the “Brush the Wings” song, and gets tucked into bed. Maria finishes the book and is about to leave when it begins to rain. To help get Abby out of the rain, Maria and Luis invite Big Bird and Abby to have the sleepover at their apartment. Abby’s mommy grants a wish to thank Maria and Luis. Their wish was to go dancing and soon their living room transforms into a ballroom. Maria and Luis dance under the disco ball while Big Bird and Abby have the best sleepover ever!

Three Cheers for Us

52min - While Elmo is trying to bounce his ball three times in a row, Zoe comes along with her pompoms and cheers for him. Elmo tries again and is successful with the help of Zoe’s cheer. Elmo asks if he can be a Sesame Street Cheerleader and they search for someone to cheer. They cheer for Telly, who is trying to boing on his pogo-stick three times with a triangle on his head. Telly succeeds and becomes a cheerleader too. They find Alan, Gordon, Maria, and a Chicken but they do not need cheerleaders for the chess game, or fixing a toaster, or going to a violin lesson. Instead of giving up, the cheerleaders cheer for themselves until some sheep and penguins ask if they would like to cheer for their football game. Instead of choosing one team to cheer for, Zoe, Elmo, and Telly cheer for everybody!

Sesame Street Bird Games

52min - Chris and Alan become the judges of the Sesame Street Bird Games. This is a game where birds of all feathers compete in exciting bird events. Big Bird, a duck, and a chicken are the contestants. The first event is the Square Meal Peck where each bird must make a square out of bird seed. The duck wins by making a shape with four equal sides. In the Thirty-Second Egg Lay event, the chicken wins because it is the only bird that can lay an egg. After Big Bird wins the rhyming competition, all scores are tied. For the final event, each bird must do a dance, showing what it feels like to be a bird. All of them dance so “birdy” in their own way that Alan and Chris decide that Big Bird, the chicken and the duck all win! The grand prize is ten pounds of birdseed which they all feast on together.

Elmo Wants To Be Like Gordon

52min - Elmo wants to be just like Gordon, so he spends the day looking and acting just like him. Elmo reads the newspaper, upside down at first, when The Count counts 2 Gordons, 2 newspapers, and 2 mustaches. Elmo asks to do the Chicken Dance like Gordon. Gordon wasn’t planning on doing the Chicken Dance, so Elmo and a group of chickens wearing mustaches like Gordon, dance it. Big Bird asks Gordon to read “Humpty Dumpty” to him. Elmo wants to read the book like Gordon would, but he cannot read yet. Elmo listens to Gordon read so that one day he will be able to read just like him. Gordon reads the story so well that Humpty Dumpty, the King’s Horses, and the King’s Men all appear looking like Gordon. They want to be just like him, too! Gordon says, “I had no idea it was so much fun being me.”

Elmo and Leela Look for a Mine-itis Cure

53min - Sesame Street Nightly News Update reports Mine-itis is going around Sesame Street. It is a grouch disease where no one shares and says “Mine!” They often take other people’s belongings. Shocked, Elmo and Leela investigate. Elmo wants to hug Radar but Big Bird yells “Mine!” Elmo wants to see the balloon, but Snuffy also yells “Mine!” Maria, Luis and Gabi share a family picnic. Oscar says they won’t share for long because of Mine-itis. Soon, Maria shows symptoms. She gets itchy, hops like a kangaroo, twirls around, and takes all the food. The reporter grabs Oscar’s ice cream and binoculars so he is forced to tell the cure: a grouch needs to share. Oscar shares his old shoe with the reporter. People are finally cured one by one. Everyone on Sesame Street is sharing again, thanks to Oscar!

Hurry Up! You're Running Out of Time with Denny the Distractor

52min - Telly is a contestant on his favorite game show “Hurry Up! You’re Running Out of Time!” hosted by Guy Smiley. Telly must recite the alphabet in one minute while Denny the Distractor plays instruments, sings, and makes noises to distract Telly. On his first try, Telly is sidetracked and runs out of time. He is given a second chance and chooses Chris to help him. Denny distracts both of them and they run out of time again. Telly and Chris are given a third and final chance but Telly feels frustrated. Chris encourages him that they can work as a team. Telly focuses only on Chris and does not get distracted. Telly and Chris win. For their prize, Telly chooses to say the alphabet without a time limit or distractions. Chris and Telly dress up and sing the alphabet song with the Oinker Sisters.

Maria the Cow Girl

54min - Big Bird, Elmo, and Abby are excited to hear Gordon read "Maria the Cowgirl - The Lonesome Trail." It is about Maria the Cowgirl and her hobbyhorse Amigo. They meet Bad Duck who says that the trail is not big enough for both of them. As she rides, Bad Duck blocks her by getting in front. She solves that problem by going in the opposite direction of Bad Duck. Everyone wants to hear the story again, but Gordon has to leave. Big Bird suggests acting out the story and Abby pretends to be Maria. When both Big Bird and Elmo want to be Bad Duck, Abby solves the problem by choosing Big Bird as Bad Duck and Elmo as Amigo. A Tumbleweed asks to join and wants to be Maria the Cowgirl. Abby and the Tumbleweed decide to be Maria together. Everyone sings and has a fun time acting out the story.

The Cookie Touch

52min - Cookie Monster wishes to never have to wait for a cookie again. The Cookie Fairy appears and grants his wish. She gives him “The Cookie Touch,” making everything he touches turn into a cookie. To share his happiness, Cookie Monster turns Telly’s favorite triangle and Big Bird’s book into cookies. When it is time for lunch, he touches his tuna sandwich which also turns into a cookie. Cookie realizes he will never be able to eat anything but cookies again. Telly and Big Bird are upset because they want their favorite things back. Cookie Monster decides to ask Chris for advice, but he accidentally turns him into a cookie too! He regrets that he ever made his wish. The Cookie Fairy reverses the spell. All his friends are happy again and Cookie Monster runs home to eat his mommy’s lasagna.

The Help-O-Bots

53min - Chris reads the story of “Rico, The Very Helpful Robot!” to Elmo, Telly and Rosita. After hearing the story, they decide to become Help-O-Bots to help Chris at Hooper’s store. They start being very helpful, but then they go too fast making more of a mess for Chris. The seventeen pies go all over and one even lands on his head! The Help-O-Bots tell Chris they can change into brooms, vacuums, and feather dusters to become a great cleaning force. However, as they start cleaning, they make the mess even worse. The Help-O-Bots are upset that they have failed their mission. Chris suggests they figure out what they are really good at and use that strength to help others. When they realize they are good at the alphabet, they become the Alpha-beta-bots to help those with alphabet-related issues.

Baby Bear's New Baby Sitter

53min - Papa Bear says that Grandmama Bear has a cold and will not be able to babysit for Baby Bear and Curly Bear. Gabi can babysit but Baby Bear thinks his sister might be nervous with a new babysitter. In reality, he is the nervous one. When Gabi arrives, Baby Bear guides her through what Grandmama does when she babysits. She makes porridge-raisin cookies, sings the golden oldie bear songs, and plays bear games. Although Gabi does not exactly know how to do those things, she introduces them to a new granola bar snack, a new bear song, and different fun games. Baby Bear is no longer nervous and has a great time. He looks forward to Gabi babysitting again. He learns that it is important to have an open mind to new experiences and that even though things are different, they can still be fun!
