In a country with a 99.9% conviction rate, attorney Taisho Miyama (Matsumoto Jun) and his partner Atsuhiro Sada (Teruyuki Kagawa) tirelessly seek justice for the nation's remaining 0.1%. When Atsuhiro becomes the new director of Madarame Law Firm, he agrees to mentor Honoka Kono (Sugisaki Hana), the daughter of automotive company chairman Shozo Wakatsuki (Ishibashi Renji). Despite her father's wishes for her to practice civil law, Honoka finds herself working with Taisho on a criminal case involving a corrupt politician accused of accepting bribes. As they investigate the case, Taisho and Honoka must navigate challenging partnerships and confront powerful adversaries to uncover the truth.
