44min - A delegation from the Khanate arrives. Minde comes before the Emperor with his sister and Jiao, who proposes a marriage between the Khan and Tuoba Di.
45min - Princess Anle sees Wei Young as her sworn enemy. When the body of the princess is later found down a well, Wei Young falls under suspicion.
44min - Tuoba Jun appears before Wei Young, who will be killed in three days time, and tells her everything. Wei Young realizes how he had been protecting her.
46min - Wei Young is picked by the Emperor to be his lady-in-waiting and spends time with Tuoba Jun while Changru is held at the palace until she gives birth.
46min - Minde is badly wounded by Tuoba Yu after infiltrating the military office, but heads to the palace and saves Wei Young from poison without her knowing.
45min - The Emperor is displeased with Wei Young for setting Tuoba Jun and Tuoba Yu against each other. Changru tells Changle about her husband's rendezvous.
46min - When Changu's plot against Wei Young is revealed she is sentenced to be killed after giving birth. Tuoba Jun receives a letter about his father.
46min - In Wei Young's investigation of Zhong Zheng's murder she searches his manor and finds a secret room, only to become trapped inside with Tuoba Yu.
45min - Tuoba Jun discovers that Tuoba Yu was pulling the strings behind Zhong Zheng's murder. He uses Changle to draw out the culprit Chiyun Nan.
46min - Tuoba Jun goes with Wei Young back to the manor to investigate and finds evidence of his father's innocence, which he reports to the Emperor.
45min - Tuoba Yu holds the Li family hostage and forces Wei Young to lie about the Emperor's choice of heir. Tuoba Jun is arrested for treason and tortured.
45min - Convinced that Tuoba Jun has lost his mind, Tuoba Yu lets him go. Changle plans to have Changru take the blame for poisoning Wei Young.
44min - After giving Wei Young the only antidote pill, Tuoba Jun coughs up blood and collapses. Changru appears with sword in hand and moves toward Wei Young.
