But adventure and danger lie ahead when he discovers he's the last living relative of legendary horror writer H.P. Lovecraft and entrusted with an ancient relic. Chtulhu, the monstrous god of Lovecraft's stories, is about to rise from his home in the bottom of the sea to enslave mankind unless Jeff can keep the relic out of the hands of Chtulhu's killer cult. Accompanied by his best friend, smartass comic-book nerd Charlie (writer-producer Devin McGinn), and their uber fanboy pal Paul (Barak Hardley), Jeff sets out on a journey where he encounters weird characters, bloodthirsty sea monsters, and ultimately finds the excitement and glory that had eluded him in his dull workaday world.
