Clumsy Harold Hall (Harold Lloyd) is a young movie fan with a burning desire to be in pictures—but no real acting experience or ability. A mix-up in the casting office, however, brings him one step closer to his dream of stardom when he’s invited to make a screen test in Hollywood—where he proceeds to wreak hilarious havoc all across the studio backlot.
