Hanging by a Thread

46min - Shortly after take off, a loud bang is heard aboard Flight 243. A huge chunk of the roof and walls are missing. Against all the odds, the plane lands safely. But what caused it?

Attack Over Baghdad

47min - It was supposed to be a routine “mail run”, but shortly after takeoff, the three man crew struggle for sixteen minutes without hydraulics to put the plane back down on the runway.

Out of Control

47min - After take off, the tailfin blows off the Boeing 747. The pilots keep the plane in the air for thirty minutes before slamming into a mountain. All but four passengers are killed.

Fight for Your Life

46min - The 3 man crew of FedEx 705 are finishing the climb out of Memphis when the attack starts. In the struggle to control the plane & the attacker, the pilots perform incredible feats.

Mistaken Identity

47min - During a sea battle, a military radar operator mistakenly identifies an approaching aircraft as a hostile F-14. The plane is shot down and all 290 people on board are killed.

Bomb on Board

47min - An explosion jolts the pilots of PA 434. A bomb has gone off and the flight crew is forced to attempt an emergency landing. The blast kills one passenger, and injures another ten.

Helicopter Down

47min - During extreme weather, a Super Puma helicopter makes a routine journey. With a flash and a bang, the sixteen passengers and crew find themselves struggling for their lives.

Death and Denial

47min - When a Boeing 767 slams into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Nantucket, killing all 217 people on-board, the questions start flying. Trouble with hydraulics? Pilot fatigue?

Maintenance Mistakes

47min - A trio of crashes reveal that when the nuts and bolts of maintenance go unchecked, it can spell catastrophe.

Kid in the Cockpit

45min - RIA Flight 593 was routine in every respect. Then, in less than five minutes, it fell from the sky. The investigation reveals the events that lead to the death of everyone on board

46min - The Greek ferry is on its normal route when it smashes into a huge rock. It takes 50 minutes for the ferry to slip beneath the waves. 80 of the people aboard lose their lives.
