A wise grandmother (Angela Lansbury) tells her granddaughter Rosaleen (Sarah Patterson) disturbing tales of innocent maidens falling in love with handsome strangers, of beasts that roam the woods, and of mysterious disappearances that occur when the moon is full. As dreams and stories intertwine, Rosaleen finds herself drawn into a mythic realm as seductive as it is dangerous.
